Attached are selected chapters
from our design manual. This manual is being finalized.
As revisions are made the chapters are updated. The manual is
intended to serves as a reference guide for our projects and
as a design aid to others working on stream simulation and
fish passage projects. The recommendations in this manual are those of this author and do not constitute agency standards or policies. Policies and standards often vary between agencies and states. Features of the manual include commentaries on various designs for stream road crossings, typical details used in those designs and case histories of sites in Oregon. This manual with it's colorful photographs is intended to share ideas of designs and document work on fish friendly crossings at roads. The majority of the projects discussed are located in South Western Oregon on both public and private roads. Case histories will be added on a rotating basis. Readers who are in our database will be automatically notified of updates. The project case histories include a critique and comments from readers. Stay tuned to this web site for publisher notes and updates. Constructive comments are appreciated. Case Histories: Case histories will be added for a brief time on completed projects. Readers on our data base will be notified of those updates. These case studies will be a part of the final design manual. Presentations: Power point presentations are available for each chapter.
